Got something to say? At BitterMagazine, we’re always looking for fresh voices, sharp perspectives, and writers who aren’t afraid to go deep. If you’re passionate about arts, ideas, culture, or news — and you’ve got something bold, thoughtful, or unconventional to share — we want to hear from you.
Writing for BitterMagazine means joining a space that values nuance over noise and insight over clicks. We’re not here for surface-level hot takes. We publish writing that questions, critiques, explores, and elevates.
What We’re Looking For
We’re open to a wide range of submissions, including:
- Essays: Personal or cultural essays that challenge mainstream narratives
- Criticism: Reviews and critical takes on art, film, music, literature, or cultural events
- Interviews: Meaningful conversations with artists, thinkers, and changemakers
- Op-eds: Smart, well-argued opinions on news, society, and current affairs
- Creative Writing: Poetry or experimental forms with a cultural or emotional pulse
Your voice should be original, honest, and unapologetically yours. If it’s fresh, fearless, and rooted in curiosity — it might just be a perfect fit for BitterMagazine.
Submission Guidelines
- Keep your pitch clear and focused — tell us what your piece is about and why it matters.
- If submitting a draft, please include a short bio (100 words max) and any relevant links to past work.
- Typical word count ranges from 800 to 1,500 words, but we’re flexible for the right piece.
- We do accept previously published work on a case-by-case basis — just let us know upfront.
Send your submissions or pitches to contact@outreachmedia .io. We do our best to respond within 1–2 weeks, but we appreciate your patience.
